Today is a good day to remember, of course; you can do so by placing a vase of poppies, or gardenias and eucalyptus, in a place of honor in your home. On a small pink card, write in black ink:

For those that have gone before, thank you.

Attach it to the vase for the day. That night, burn myrrh incense and set up sacred space as usual. Place the vase in your circle along with matches and a fireproof container. Spend a few moments meditating on your ancestors, departed loved ones, and all who have given their lives to protect others or defend freedom. Burn the pink card in the container, and send blessings of thanks, love, and peace to all those that have gone before. Keep the flowers for seven days and return them to the earth.
