Today is the birthday, in 1819, of Abner Doubleday, the guy who, according to legend and lore, invented the great American game of baseball. This a good day for group activities, such as this large group ritual to raise energy for a common goal. To start, stand in a circle holding hands, your right hand facing down over the neighbor's left hand. The leader clearly states the purpose of the energy raising-such as providing healing energy for Joe, or some other purpose. The leader then says "Zoom." The next person to the right repeats the word, and so on around the circle as quickly as possible. As the energy builds, everyone raises their hands, envisioning the energy vortex rising up and then going out into the universe with the declared purpose.
