Spell: Spell for Religious Tolerance

Color of the Day
Incense of the Day

July 19 marks the anniversary of the death of Rebecca Nurse, Sarah Good, and Susanna Martin-all found guilty of witchcraft in 1692. Today is a good day to focus on all working together to halt religious intolerance. Place on your altar as many images of the god and goddess as you can. Light a new purple candle. As the candle flickers, gaze at the gods and goddesses. Meditate on how different civilizations have imagined different images of the divine
in so many diverse representations. Search your heart for any anger you harbor toward any other faith or religious system. Say:

Hatred is banished,
May love now reside.
Feel a new tolerance growing within you. Exhale that feeling out into the world.
