Incense of the day: Musk Having trouble getting started on something? Gather together a favorite hot drink (such as rosemary tea or hot cocoa), a blank sheet of paper, a favorite pen, pencil, or marker, a candle, and some incense (such as jasmine). These represent the four elements. Light the candle, and meditate on how fire contributes to your creative side. Then light the incense from the candle flame. Meditate on how air contributes to your creative side. Sip the tea. How does water contribute? Then take your pen and the blank paper in your hands. How does earth contribute? Now you are ready to ask these elements to contribute directly to your current project. |
