Incense of the day: Sage Boost prosperity and financial luck with this synergistic potpourri combination. Gather two cups dried rose petals, two teaspoons mint leaves, one cup cloves, two cups dried chamomile flowers, and two cups dried honeysuckle flowers. Combine these in a big glass bowl. In a smaller bowl, mix one cup orrisroot powder with one drop cinquefoil oil, one drop basil oil, and three drops mint oil. Add this mixture to the bowl of flowers and herbs. Blend gently but thoroughly with clean hands. Store the potpourri in a large jar with a tight lid for three weeks in a dry, dark, cool place. Every few days, open the jars and stir the contents. After three weeks, transfer the potpourri to a decorative bowl for the living room. Add a sachet of silica gel to keep contents dry. |
