Her name was Vega, and she thought of nothing but the clothes she designed and wove-that is until she met Altair. The two fell in love and spent so much time together that in time the king's robes grew threadbare. The couple ignored the king's warnings about their irresponsibility. Enraged, the king separated them on either side of the Milky Way. As a result, the lovers became ill with grief. Eventually, the king relented and allowed the lovers this one day in the year to be together. To find your true love today, you must decorate your altar with spools of colored thread and flowers. Light two candles, one pink, one red, and pray to the heavenly couple that you find your soul mate. |
