St. Agnes was a Roman virgin martyr and the patron saint of girls. She was prayed to by young women who hoped to learn the identity of their future mates. This was done by using the herbs which are sacred to her-rosemary and thyme. Just before bedtime tonight, scent your bedroom with rosemary and thyme by burning them, or stuff a sprig of each into a dream pillow. Upon falling asleep, think of your intent while saying softly: "St. Agnes gentle and kind, let me see my lover in my mind." According to tradition, you'll not only dream of your future lover, but you'll also hear him whisper words of love.
