Incense of the day: Rue Some thoughts for consideration as you begin your day: To simply practice magic does not make one a Witch. You must also live as a Witch. Walk with responsibility for your failures as well as your successes. Celebrate the cycles of the Moon and seasons, not because it is expected, but because it keeps you in tune with nature and the life force. All life is sacred; all acts are ritual. Do not take more from the Earth Mother than you need to live. Walk in right relation to the Mother and her creatures. Power is a sacred gift; use it wisely and with humility. Pride in power will bring failure. It should never be used to flaunt your ability or be lorded over others. Be certain of your intentions when performing any act of magic. Know that words are sacred, and use them wisely. Knowledge is the heart and soul of the Craft. You can never know too much about your art. |
