Incense of the day: Bay laurel When facing a particularly stressful situation, use this spell in conjunction with mundane efforts to help ease the tension. You'll need a well-ventilated area, a piece of paper, pen, fireproof cauldron, a calming essential oil (such as lavender or ylang-ylang), and a cotton ball. Write down things that you have been stressed about, pouring them into your letter. Then, tear the paper into tiny pieces and place them in your cauldron. Light the last piece of paper on fire and drop it in with the other papers. As you see them burning, visualize the stressful situation leaving you. Once the fire is completely out, retreat to a calm area of your home. Place one or two drops of oil onto the cotton ball, inhale the scent and say, "All is well." Meditate, write in your journal, or listen to soothing music to further reduce your stress. |
