Spell: Full Moon Ritual for Self Discovery

Color of the Day
Incense of the Day

10/4/2009
Color of the day: Gold
Incense of the day: Heliotrope

Go outside in the evening when the Moon is full and spread a silver cloth on the ground. Place upon it a small mirror, a picture of yourself, a knife, a silver cord, and your journal. Call the directions and, facing the Moon, say:
Oh vision of mystery, vision of light,
Shining orb in the ebony of the night.
I shall hold you in my memory unbinded
Drink deep of the vision you have provided.
Place the mirror facing the picture of yourself and bind them with a silver cord. Cut a lock of your hair and place it inside the journal. Place the mirror and picture on a table near your bed and the journal within arm's reach. Every night before you go to sleep, write your thoughts in the journal. At the next New Moon ritual, spend time contemplating those words.
