Spell: Harvest the Sun

Color of the Day
Incense of the Day

Tuesday, ruled by Mars, is characterized by heat and metal. Now is the time to harvest the Sun's energy. Lay sacred metal objects and jewelry in a sunny spot to charge and collect energy. Or do some reverential sunbathing, storing the radiant energy within. Enjoy the sunlight before 11 am or after 3 pm to avoid the most harmful UV rays. In a safe space, lay as fully exposed as you can. Breathe and envision the Sun's energy seeping into your skin. Draw it, and store it as a golden orb where you need fuel: in your heart for emotions, in your head for thoughts, or in your core to fuel you physically. Say:
I am brilliant, golden, and bright,
My mind, body, and spirit are light.
As the days shorten and cool, return in meditation to this stored light, using it to warm and fuel you. Sunlight also helps the body create much-needed vitamin D.
