| We're surrounded by people at work, at home, and in the community. We play so many different roles and fulfill their demands. We work magic in many areas, extending ourselves to others-volunteering, collaborating with neighbors, contributing to our kids' schools, even raising money. We need a solitude spell. Take five minutes alone. Close your eyes and envision peeling away the roles that demand your time, energy, wisdom, and money. Now just be. Breathe, and pull energy from up through your feet. Draw it through your body, and cascade it out the top of your head, spilling down and over you. Feel tingling at the back of your neck, a sign of the shifting energy. Know that the Great Mother is there to help you, her energy flowing to you, through you, and around you. She is the source to return to in solitude, to refill, regenerate, and renew. She is the source of all being.
