Today is Compliment Day, and it was created in 1998 by Kathy Chamberlin and Debby Hoffman.
Sincere compliments make people feel happy and valued. Celebrate this holiday by complimenting at least five people you meet during the day. This is a good opportunity to strengthen community ties in your coven or other magical group. You will need a piece of paper and a pen for each participant. The color pink symbolizes friendship, platonic love, and affection-so use pink gel pens if possible. Each person should begin by writing their name at the top of the page. Then pass the papers deosil (clockwise) around the circle. Write down a nice compliment about the person as their page goes by. At the end, each person will have a collection of positive thoughts from everyone present. You may carry the page with you or keept it on your altar. |
