Spell: Clarity

Color of the Day
Incense of the Day

Life can be hectic, and it is sometimes hard to keep our vision clear in the midst of the chaos of everyday life. Once the holidays are over and things have calmed down somewhat, take advantage of the winter's quiet to check in on your own mental clarity and make sure you are thinking as clearly as possible.
Place a bowl of water on your altar or any flat surface. Light a stick of incense-I like to use rosemary for this, since it is a herb that excels at sharpening the mind-or dab a gew drops of rosemary essential oil on a white candle. Light the candle and place it where its light is reflected in the bowl of water. Watch the candle flicker and feel the air blowing away the cobwebs from your mind.

Powers of Air
Gentle and fair
Send me your light
For clearness of sight
