Spell: A Divination Spell for Imbolc

Color of the Day
Incense of the Day

Imbolc is a popular time for prophecy and divination. The land is beginning to stir from the depths of winter and everyone wonders how soon spring will come. Today, choose your preferred form of divination:  tarot, scrying, runes, and so forth. If you don't practice divination regularly, or if you would like to try a new method, find a dark-colored bowl and add a few inches of water to the bowl. Set it on the table, and place a lighted candle to one side so the light reflects on the water. Gaze into the water, allowing your eyes to go out of focus and clear your mind, leaving it free for visions. As you prepare your divination technique, repeat this chant three times:

Seers of old,
guide my sight,
help me know
dark and light.
Help me find,
let me see-
as I will
it shall be.
