Spell: Running Water Wash

Color of the Day
Incense of the Day

Hoodoo and other magical systems believe that running water can purify one's energy while simultaneously washing dirt and dead skin cells from the physical frame. This magical principle makes sense, considering the flowing, rushing energy of running water. It is commonly believed that a person doesn't even necessarily have to immerse themselves in water that is in the process of running; in fact, gathering a bottle of river water or stream water can be sufficient because the flowing energy is inherently attached to the water.
After having gathered a bottle of running water, add a few pinches of salt and shake up the bottle. Visualize the water glowing in purifying white and blue energy. The next morning (right before a morning shower), put yourself in a meditative state of mind and step naked into the shower. Pour the whole bottle over your head and, while it's rushing over your body, visualize it sweeping away stagnant energy while simultaneously waking up your mind for the day.
