LLEWELLYN'S SPELL-A-DAY

Spell: Pilgrimage

Color of the Day
Incense of the Day

Every year on May 13, hundreds of thousands of people make a pilgrimage to Fatima in honor of the Virgin Mary.
Today make a symbolic pilgrimage to honor a special person or place by creating a shrine. You can do this for a god or goddess, or a sacred place you've visited or would like to visit. Use photos, statues, an so on. Take a symbolic pilgrimage in your mind, visualizing a journey.
Consider the spiritual motivation behind this type of excursion. If you can't immediately think of a special place you would like to visit or a person you would want to honor, explore the idea. Use this chant for meditation:

"Sacred places on the land far beyond the sea or sand, special people, honored souls, guide us as we seek our goals."
