Spell: Elemental Garden Blessings

Color of the Day
Incense of the Day

Today starts the Floralia (held in honor of the Sabine fertility goddess Flora), making it a great time to do some garden magic. You will need five stones to represent earth, air, fire, water, and spirit. You are going to bury each stone at the appropriate compass point after charging it with that element's life-supporting properties. Start in the north with earth, and continue clockwise with air, fire, and water. Finish in the middle with the stone you chose for spirit. It is done.
The nice thing about this ritual is the adaptability. If you have small herbs and veggies tucked in all over the place, then consider the garden area all of your yard and bury the spirit stone as close as you can get to the center. If you have to garden inside, use potted plants to hold the stones.
