POSTED UNDER Garden, Moon, Spring

Spell: Taking Stock

Color of the Day
Incense of the Day

Today's waning gibbous moon has good energy for shining a light on all that we still have to do to prepare for spring and planting time, whether in a backyard garden or a more private, inner landscape.
Take a few stones and paint them with runes or other symbols that have meaning to you personally. Then fill a plant pot or small dish with soil or sand. "Plant" the painted stones in the top layer of soil/sand, face down for divination, leaving a space in the middle for your candle. In a meditative space, carve a white candle with messages of all you wish to harvest this year. "Plant" the candle in the pot or dish filled with soil/sand and stones. Light the candle, saying:

"What needs to be cleared to make way for this harvest?"

After the candle has burned all the way down, carefully remove it. See if the wax melted onto any of the stones, and read the patterns there. You can also perform a divination by simply pulling a few of the stones you painted, and interpreting their meaning. May all your gardens be blessed!
