| Today, the moon is a slender waning crescent, almost a Crone's sickle; and, as this is the month of Beltane, it's a good time to cast off old, archaic beliefs about sex and sexuality. Take some time to meditate on your sexual questions, and then research the answers, using reliable resources such as books and articles on healthy sexuality, rather than relying solely on the Internet, if at all possible.
Take a purple candle-the physical(red) manifestation of emotions(blue)-and carve it with statements of beliefs that no longer apply to you. As you light the candle, say: "As this candle burns down, as the moon wanes away, so let these old, outmoded beliefs wane and die a timely death. I am free from judgment and fear. So mote it be." |
