Fill a large cup or watering can with fresh water and place your hands over it, mentally sending white light into the vessel to charge the water with the power of blessing. Go to your garden and lightly water your plants, connecting with them and sensing the vital bond that humans share with their world. As you water the plants, say: "Respect and due reverence shall now be paid, my heartfelt thanks for your sacrifice made; shoot and leaf and full-grown stalk, sacred plants who have served my needs; harvest time shall now unlock, the gifts from Earth their magic freed." |
