| Washing laundry can seem like a monotonous chore, but putting a little spiritual intention into even the most mundane activity can make things fun while keeping the good vibes flowing.
Add a few drops of pure lavender essential oil to your load of laundry. After the clothes are dry, as you fold each item, put a dab of lavender oil on it while focusing on the plentiful metaphysical qualities of lavender, which include relaxation, peace, mental focus, balance, sensuality, and protection. You may wish to create a little chant to say with each dab. This process serves to enchant your garments and lend them a metaphysical boost for many days down the road. You may also wish to experiment with different essential oils depending on their properties, or dilute your oils if you are sensitive to odors. Just be sure not to use "fragrance" oils because of their toxicity. |
