Spell: New Moon Pumpkin Picking

Color of the Day
Incense of the Day

Pumpkins are linked to the power of the moon and are aligned with the energies of prosperity and healing. Since it's prime pumpkin season and also a new moon, it's a great time to find the perfect pumpkin to empower with a magical intention. You can keep it until Halloween and then carve it to release the magic.

When you find your ideal pumpkin (one that just feels right and seems to align with your goal), buy it and take it home. Once home, hold the pumpkin and focus strongly on your magical intention (either prosperity or healing) and envision that you are pouring this power into its flesh, where it will stay until you release it.

To release the magic on Halloween, carve the pumpkin with a symbolic face or pattern that represents your goal. Lighting a candle within the completed jack-o'-lantern will set the power free.
