Once home, hold the pumpkin and focus strongly on your magical intention (either prosperity or healing) and envision that you are pouring this power into its flesh, where it will stay until you release it. To release the magic on Halloween, carve the pumpkin with a symbolic face or pattern that represents your goal. Lighting a candle within the completed jack-o'-lantern will set the power free. |
