Spell: Petitioning the Dead Spell

Color of the Day
Incense of the Day

If you would like to ask for help or information from someone who has passed away, you can try this spell to help open a line of communication between yourself and the dead. Write a letter to the soul you wish to contact, including the full name of the person and all the details of your request. If possible, place the letter directly on the person’s grave. If this isn’t an option, you can tuck the letter among the roots of the oldest, largest tree you can find, or bury it in a cemetery. Pay attention to signs, symbols, dreams, visions, and any other unusual occurrences that you experience over the course of the next several days. If you’re seeking a more detailed or clear-cut message, a talking board (aka ouija), pendulum, automatic writing, or other tool of spirit communication may also be used.
