In late July the Goddess, or “Great Mother,” begins to bless us with the bounty of the land. Take time to thank her with this ritual. The only spell ingredient you’ll need is some birdseed or some other small offering.

Sit in a quiet place outside or at your altar and say:

Great Mother,
Thank you for blessing the
soil and the seeds.
Great Mother,
Thank you for our food and
caring for our needs.

End by scattering the birdseed on the ground near your home if possible. When you can, go to a farmers’ market or an orchard and buy some fruits and vegetables to support your local farmers. When you eat them, eat with purpose and think of the words you said honoring the Great Mother.
