Spell: Nonbinary Pride Meditation

Color of the Day
Incense of the Day

It’s the end of Pride Month. Let’s balance our energies with the help of Erinle, the Yoruba orisha and patron of the LGBTQIA+ community. This orisha, like many nonbinary people, doesn’t fit neatly into any one gender category.

Erinle is a hunter who resides in many places: forests, farms, and waters. This complex orisha is the perfect choice to engage with the energies of a beautifully diverse community. Let’s draw the orisha to us with gorgeous coral, turquoise, and/or indigo silk or satin cloth. Set a piece of fabric of this type on a table to begin.

In a crystal or glass bowl, drop the following essential oils:
21 drops frankincense
21 drops myrrh
14 drops vetiver
7 drops patchouli
14 drops lavender

Swirl to mix or use a glass stirrer, and place the bowl on the cloth. Put on some relaxing music for an hour.

Touch your pulse points with the oils. Lie on a yoga mat and meditate. See what Erinle has to show and say to you.
