At this time of year, many of us travel to see family and friends, often navigating winter weather conditions, busy airports and depots, and crowded highways. Craft this handy amulet to take with you to smooth your path, keep things on time, and reduce stress levels.

You’ll need:
* A 3 x 3-inch square of blue fabric
* A shiny dime or similar silvery coin
* 1 teaspoon dried feverfew flowers
* A pinch of lavender flowers
* 18 inches of green ribbon or thread

Lay out the fabric, then place the coin and herbs in the center. Draw up the four corners and gently twist them clockwise, creating a “neck.” Tie the green ribbon around the neck, knotting it once to close. Then wrap the loose ends from both directions until you have just enough for one more knot, saying as you wind the thread:
