Spell: Welcome the Sun Spell

Color of the Day
Incense of the Day

Today is a sacred feast day to Apollo, Roman god of the sun. What better way to welcome spring than to honor the sun god? Solar energy is all about vitality, health, optimism, and energy, and we certainly need all of these after a long winter. Apollo was also associated with light(clarity of vision) and truth.
Make an altar to Apollo with any of the following objects: an Apollo figurine, a sun figure, gold coins or jewelry, jars of honey, yellow flowers, golden candles (beeswax is perfect), golden fabric, and golden fruit such as apples, lemons, or oranges. Arrange these objects in a pleasing way, to honor Apollo and invite his wisdom into your life. Gold is associated with prosperity, and the fruit and honey are related to health, longevity, and an abundant existence. The sun is at its zenith at noon each day; this is the perfect time to attune to the energies of Apollo.
