Spell: Five in Motion Spell

Color of the Day
Incense of the Day

Regardless of whether March marks for you the shift from winter into spring or summer into fall, it’s a good time to clear yourself energetically. We’ll use the Tarot and the body to achieve this cleanse. The fives in the Minor Arcana point to the need to break a cycle. These cards are a call to shift how you think, feel, perceive, or act in order to move forward.

I recommend doing this clearing in the morning or evening, but it can work any time you need to realign. You can stand, sit, or lie down. Take three slow breaths while considering the five external points of your body: feet, hands, and head—all connecting back to the heart. Focus on each part of the body in turn as you say:

One foot forward to be confident.
One foot following in harmony.
One hand giving to create change.
One hand receiving to accept aid.
One mind open to new directions.
All in union with my heart to guide.

Take one more cleansing breath to finish and you’re done!
