In May, the earth is a wealth of abundance. The God and the Goddess have blessed the earth with growth and lushness. Every growing thing is surging toward maturity and harvest. For this spell you will use your kitchen counter as your altar. On the counter, place a variety of salad vegetables, especially leafy greens. Wash and prep them so they are ready to go. As you work with the vegetables, say:
Every tree, every flower, every crop, and every herb
Is a gift of the God and the Goddess.
With shade, with beauty, with food they have blessed us,
Thanks to the God, thanks to the Goddess,
For the green world they have given us.

Serve the salad to yourself and any guests who may be present. Eat slowly and with purpose as you think of the God and the Goddess. Think about our beautiful green world that they have blessed us with.
