Today is the feast day of Basolus, a French Benedictine monk. He was known for being a hermit, so today we will work with the Hermit tarot card to capture wisdom. For this meditation you will need a piece of paper, a pen, and an image of the Hermit. You can use a card from your favorite tarot deck or an image from the internet. Place the card or image in front of you where you can focus on its imagery and what it is trying to convey to you. Take a deep breath and relax your body. Study the card or image and write down anything important that you notice or that pops into your head. Close your eyes and hold the image of the Hermit in your mind. Walk along with him on his path and see if he gestures toward anything or shares with you an image that can help you on your own path. Add anything you discover to your notes. |
