LLEWELLYN'S SPELL-A-DAY

Spell: New Year Puzzle Spell

Color of the Day
Incense of the Day

This spell is similar to making a vision board, but with a twist. Begin on New Year's Day in preparation for the year ahead. You'll need:

  • A blank puzzle (which can be found at craft stores, dollar stores, and toy stores)
  • Scrapbooking materials
  • Scissors
  • Glue
  • A craft knife

Put the puzzle together on your work surface. Cut out pictures and words that align with your goal or bring you happiness and inspiration. Coat the back of each cut-out with glue and apply it to the puzzle. Once dry, use a craft knife to carefully slice along the existing cuts of the puzzle pieces, separating them. Put all of the pieces in a bag or box and shake them up.

Each day, pull one piece of the puzzle from the bag and lay it on a surface chosen for this purpose. Some days you will not pull a matching piece, but don't worry. As you work toward your goals, eventually the puzzle and your vision will start to coalesce. One by one, piece by piece, day by day, your dreams will take form in life.
