Spell: Speak the Truth Spell

Color of the Day
Incense of the Day

Use this magick to help compel an honest conversation and truthful revelations when your hunches are telling you someone is lying to you or hiding something. First, make a glass of salt water, adding about a tablespoon of salt to an eight-ounce cup of warm water. Stir until the salt dissolves, then use the water to wipe down the surface of a wooden chair. Pay special attention to the top and underside of the seat and to the backrest. Wipe the salt water down each leg of the chair and on the very bottom surface of each leg where it contacts the floor.

Next, take a small piece of paper and draw on it a large open mouth. Fill the mouth with the word TRUTH printed in all capital letters. Tape this paper to the underside of the chair's seat where it won't be noticed. Subtly guide the person in question to sit in this chair and then let the conversation flow. Ask questions, but avoid direct accusations. Listen closely to what the person says and doesn't say.
