Incense of the day: Maple Saint Genevieve, whose feast day is celebrated today, saved Paris from both the Franks and Attila the Hun. Parisians continue to invoke her in troubled times. Begin this spell by fasting for twenty-four hours, then eat a meal of beans and barley bread, nothing more. Anoint two candles- one green, one gold-with a mixture of four drops of basil, four drops of geranium, two drops of pine, and six of clove. Write your name and the names of your family nine times on a piece of paper. Fold the paper three times, and place it on the center of your altar. Weight the paper with a piece of coral or topaz. Pray to Saint Genevieve to keep you and yours safe from harm. |
