| In Coventry, England, the naked ride of Lady Godiva is enacted on this day. Godiva agreed to ride naked through town in order to dissuade her husband from levying a tax on the people of Coventry. Her act is still celebrated. I don't advocate public nudity unless you're in a safe space, but maybe you can find a suitable situation to get naked or nearly naked in a bathing suit, and partake in some reverential sunbathing. You don't need to stay in the sun long. Just ten minutes of sun, front and back, each day, helps the body to produce enough vitamin D to prevent mild depression, and it feels great. Choose a time before 11:30 am and after 2:30 pm so you're not in peak UV rays. Adequate amounts of vitamin D are also linked to the prevention of breast cancer, so be like Lady Godiva, get outside and expose yourself.
