Please join me-It is nighttime and I am standing before a round pool of water. The Moon overhead is reflected in the water, and I can see the outlines of trees and bushes around me and around the water.
There is a smell of pine in the air. There is a light breeze, and the air is slightly cool, but not cold. I look down at the water and step into it. The bottom is sandy, and as I take another step, my feet sink very slightly into the soft sand. I step in further and further, until I am up to my waist; then, I allow myself to float. The water is neither warm nor cool, and I am very buoyant. The water cradles me gently. I relax, close my eyes, and feel very peaceful floating in the water. I remain for as long as I need. |
