A simple way to relax your muscles is to give yourself an energy massage. To do this, lie down on a bed on your stomach and focus on your breathing. Visualize energy coming up from the earth and entering your body through your feet when you inhale. Visualize white light moving from your feet, traveling up through your legs and back and to the top of your head during your inhale. On the exhale, send the energy back down through your body. As you are breathing and moving the energy through you, mentally use the energy to massage your muscles. Will that the energy relaxes your muscles as it travels.
With a little practice, you should be able to feel the energy massage working. To end the exercise, do one final exhale, sending all the energy out of the soles of your feet and visualize it sinking back into the earth. |
