I'm a big proponent of seeking help for mental health issues when you need it. Just as I take medications for my diabetes, I also take medication for my chronic depression. However, sometimes, even with help, the clutter in your mind can get to be a bit much. At times like these, try this calming spell to banish the "noise," bringing yourself some needed calmness and clarity.
You will need a white candle, with a holder, and a low-sitting bowl of spring water. Set the candle and holder within the bowl, take a deep calming and centering breath, and light the candle. Sit and quietly watch the candle flame flicker as it burns. Watch its reflection within the water. Let the day's worries and aggravations slip away as the distressing noise within your mind starts to calm. This spell is best done at night. |
