Spell: Wind Chime Storm Protection

Color of the Day
Incense of the Day

April showers do bring May flowers, but they often rain down during some pretty intense storms. Here's a spell to calm the worst of the damaging winds and lightning when a storm reaches your house this spring. Anoint a wind chime with olive oil or lavender oil to instill peace and protection. Attach a small twig of ash somewhere on the wind chime. Charge the chime with its purpose:

"Dangerous winds, I hear your knell,
Break up storms with ringing bells.
Blowing winds may be divine,
But powers of protection shall now be mine."

Your wind chime won't send back a storm or divert it, possibly causing more damage to others, but will knock the danger out of the storm, sending out ripples of protection as the bells ring. Use this spell with common sense, and be sure to follow safety warnings about incoming storms even with your chime in place.
