"With this flame, I light a torch along the road. Let it be a beacon for the fathers who built my blood and the men who made the family line. Let it be a beacon for the sons who grew up and the brothers we have lost. I light this torch to acknowledge their struggles, to appreciate their works, and to honor their memory. I light this torch to be in spirit with them once more and to walk this path together with them in hallowed breath. Blessed are the fathers who planted the seed. Blessed are the fathers who tended the crop. Blessed are the fathers who became the earth!" |
