| This spell will help ground you and give you a good, strong connection to Mother Earth. If you don't own your own property that you can dig on, you will need an aluminum roasting pan or something of a similar size and shape, along with a bag of potting soil. Outside, fill the pan with soil and add water, stirring well until it's a gooey consistency. If you can dig into the earth, do so and add water until you have the same consistency.
Submerge at least your feet into the mud. If you can dig an actual mud pit, that's even better! Feel the mud squish between your toes. Meditate on what you are doing. Think about the ways our ancestors used mud. We tend to shy away from mud these days, but for many people it was an integral part of their culture. Rub it on your legs, arms, and face. Feel the connection with Mother Earth. Allow yourself to feel a part of Mother Earth. |
