| This spell starts with a shower. While cleansing yourself, think about all the things our culture tells you that are currently issues for you. As you wash, tell yourself that you are washing yourself of society's ridiculous notions of what a person's body is supposed to look like and be like. Get angry if you need to: talk it out, shout it out, cry and mourn without shame.
After you dry off, go to your altar, naked, and visualize your chosen deities looking at you with love and approval. Say: "I was made by the gods and goddesses and am therefore perfect just as I am." Imagine a world where everyone looks just like you and where your body is considered the ideal form of beauty and strength. Allow yourself to Just. Feel. That. Then light a red candle and focus on your vitality, your vibrance. Open your arms and let the warm red light come into you, filling you with courage and pride in yourself. Be blessed. |
