As we approach astrological Samhain, when the Sun is at 15 degrees Scorpio, the veil between our world and the spirit world is already greatly thinning, making spirit communication easier. With the Sun and Mercury in Scorpio (as well as Mars, which is Scorpio’s ancient ruler), this is a beyond auspicious time to open up the lines of communication with your beloved dead. Create a special place for them and include their photo. You can add offerings of things they enjoyed in life as well as the traditional glass of water and a white candle. Once everything is set up, light the candle and open up the lines of communication by saying:
