Spell: Light a Flame!

Color of the Day
Incense of the Day

My favorite day of the week is Wednesday. As a Gemini, which is ruled by the planet Mercury, I find Wednesdays are good days for doing business, communicating with others, and getting things done. Fueled by the power of Mercury and its lightness and swiftness of being, this day can give your works an additional boost. Of course, there is always the perpetual angst of Mercury retrograde occurring, but don't let that stop you. Just pay extra attention to what you need to do and get going!

For this spell you will need:

  • Florida Water
  • A red candle
  • A fireproof candleholder
  • A lighter or matches
  • A Mercury dime (available online or through coin shops)

Wipe the candle upward and then downward with Florida Water. Allow it to dry and place it in the holder. Safely light the flame. Set the Mercury dime before the candle. Visualize the wings of Mercury effortlessly carrying you, helping you to succeed in your goals. Allow the candle to safely burn out.
