LLEWELLYN'S SPELL-A-DAY

Spell: Working on This Year’s Lessons

Color of the Day
Incense of the Day

Because we never stop growing and learning, it's useful to have good tools to help us discover and learn our lessons. Do a Tarot reading for yourself today.

Get out your favorite deck and a few of your best Tarot books in case you want to augment what you already know as you read the cards. As you shuffle the deck, think about the four major elements of the human being, sometimes called the four bodies. Lay out a row of four cards:
1st card: Physical body
2nd card: Emotional body
3rd card: Mental body
4th card: Spiritual body

As you read the cards, think about which body you "live in" most of the time. Are you an athlete or regular exerciser? An actor or performer? An intellectual or scholar? A teacher or clergy or counselor? Do you easily move from body to body? What does the Tarot tell you are your four best lessons for this year?
