Spell: Freya the 13th Altar

Color of the Day
Incense of the Day

Many people fear Friday the 13th, but when you consider that Friday is named for the goddess Freya and 13 is her number, it's easier to enjoy the day. Freya is a complex Nordic goddess of many things, including love, sex, fertility, battle, death, magic, and witchcraft. As the goddess of witches, she and her day should be heralded and embraced. One of the ways you can do that is to make this altar today.

Lay out a flax and hemp cloth on a small table. (Any natural or mostly natural textured cloth will work.) Put a small bowl of honey in the center. Put out a nice piece of jewelry for Freya to wear in her world and some perfume that is decadent and luxurious. Add a pig or boar, a horse, and two gray cat toys or statuary. If you have a piece of amber, she would also love that. Go to this altar for any of Freya's attributes. Reflect on her beauty and her beautiful things and ask for her blessings.
