As practitioners of the old ways, we are fortunate to be able to connect and communicate with our guides in this lifetime. In order to receive their messages, we need to be open to them. One place where we can be receptive is in a dream state.

By practicing lucid dreaming, we can open ourselves up and interact with our guides. One way to start out is by thinking about a dream state that you want to happen. You could imagine a scenario where you are chatting with a guide in a cafe, and include one odd detail as a cue so you know it is a dream. For example, maybe there is a blue rose on the table. Before falling asleep, say what you want to dream about and that you want to remember it. Think about this several times before falling asleep. Say:

What I see is what I dream.

What I dream is what I see.

If you see the cue, you know you are dreaming and then can control the interaction. Upon waking, write down what you remember and learn from your guides
