Spell: New Moon Spell for Psychic Power

Color of the Day
Incense of the Day

Use this spell to increase your receptivity and improve your psychic abilities. You'll need thirteen small pieces of raw amethyst and a small black or purple candle. Take the candle outside after dark and place it in a candleholder or on a firesafe dish. Surround the candle with the amethyst pieces, arranging the crystals in a circle.

Light the candle. Gaze at the flame and focus on your desire for your psychic abilities to grow. Think of why you want these skills to improve and how you will utilize your increasing talents. Place your fingertips to gently rest on a few of the amethyst pieces and state:

Dark Moon, Mother of the Night,
let me peer into the shadows!
Lend to me your sight!

Let the candle burn down as you sit quietly in meditation, noting any visions or impressions that come to you. When the candle goes out, pick up the amethyst crystals and place them on your altar or wrap them in purple fabric to keep with you to give your psychic power a boost.
