POSTED UNDER Bath, Moon, Winter

Spell: Waning Moon Herbal Bath Tea

Color of the Day
Incense of the Day

The waning moon phase is a good time to retreat within ourselves to heal, sift through our experiences, and let go of those things that no longer serve us. This is especially important during the winter months, when darker days and inclement weather can wear us down. Holiday stress can also affect us, leaving us feeling frayed and depleted of energy.

This is your reminder that it's okay to take a break, nourish your soul, and ease built-up tension. For this spell you will need:

  • 1 cup dried lavender buds
  • 1 cup dried hops
  • 1 cup dried rose petals
  • A bowl
  • 1 quart-size canning jar
  • 5 x 7-inch muslin drawstring bags

Mix the herbs together in a bowl. Place the mixture in the canning jar and store in a cool, dry place.

Light some candles and pick out some relaxing music. Place one cup of the herb mixture in a muslin drawstring bag and tie shut. Place in your bath to infuse. Enjoy this quiet time of contemplation. Extinguish the candles when done.
