Walking a labyrinth is known to provide a space for inner examination, metaphorical journey, and even healing. Most of us don't have access to a full-scale labyrinth, but you can still benefit through finger-walking a portable version.
Visit the website of The Labyrinth Society (http://labyrinthsociety.org). Exploring the site will yield a number of printable labyrinths; print one, set it on a flat surface, and you're ready to begin. Breathe slowly, ground and center, and begin, moving your finger from the entrance and working toward the center. As you proceed, allow yourself to slip into a quiet, peaceful state in which you ponder your questions and await an answer. If you're looking for healing, focus on that as you "walk." Pause in the center, then make the journey back out. The site also features the option of finger-walking a cyber labyrinth on-screen. Enjoy! |
